Workday Reports | Workday Online Training | Live Classes

Workday Reports

Workday offers many reports that allow you to summarize Information that is contained in the program. The categories include Time Off, Pay, Academic Statistics and more. You can run a report on an as needed basis or you can schedule a report to run on a recurring basis, delivered to your Workday Notifications. Adding the Report Worklet to your Workday Home Page

From your Home page:

• Click the Settings icon in the upper right hand corner of the Home page. The Configure Work lets page displays.
• Click the Plus icon to add the Report worklet.
• Click the Prompt icon and type in Report. Press Enter.
• A listing of matching options will display. Click on the Reports option to add the work let.
• Click OK > Done.

Using the Report Worklet-View Category

• Click the Reports work let. The Reports work let displays with two sections.
• Under View, Click on the more hyperlink.
• An alphabetical listing of all standard reports is displayed.
• Scroll until you locate the report you want to run and click on it.
• We will use the All Employee Time Off report as our example.
• Click the Prompt icon and choose the Organization(s) that you want to include. You can add as many as you want.
• Choose whether you want to include Subordinate Organizations and/or Managers.
• Enter the Start and End Dates using the calendar prompt, if necessary.
•  Click on OK.
•  The Time Off report will display.
• If you want to change the criteria for the report without having to start all over, click on the Arrow icon, located in the upper left corner of the report.
• You can enter new criteria, then click on OK to rerun the report.
• A Document Available notification will be delivered to your Notifications area of Workday. Click on the icon to launch the report. Please note that the report may be minimized on your taskbar. This will only happen if you schedule a report or it will ask you if you want to be notified when the job is done.

Options Available for Working with Reports

You can easily manipulate the information that displays in your selected report, including filtering the information and exporting the list to Excel. You can also choose to have the report exported as a.pdf so that you can print it out.
